Editorial business profiles
The business profiles explain how an operating model may work. Unless a page names and links its evidence, financial ranges and operator scenarios are editorial estimates. They are not audited results, guarantees or verified case studies.
We classify evidence as an illustrative model, a sourced example or verified first-party information. A profile remains an illustrative model until its sources have been reviewed and attached to the page.
Acquisition listings
A business-for-sale record must identify its source, observation date, publication rights and current status. We distinguish seller-supplied figures from independently verified information and do not infer a completed sale or final transaction value.
A listing may be withheld from search engines when it is incomplete, stale, duplicated, suppressed or not approved for public indexing. Creating a route does not automatically make it indexable.
Source permissions
Every acquisition source receives a rights review covering collection, public display, search indexing, historical retention, images, attribution and downstream exports. Records that fail the relevant permission check do not enter the public index.
Owners and sources can request corrections or suppression. Suppression is applied to pages, search, sitemaps, alerts and exports from the same underlying record.
Freshness and status
We record when a listing was first and last observed. A listing is not called active merely because it exists in the database. Its source must be active, its status must be active, it must not be delisted and its latest observation must fall within the source's freshness window.
A missing record is not automatically declared removed. The source must complete at least two full runs without the record before the pipeline can mark it delisted.
Calculated intelligence
Multiples, medians, listing age and acquisition signals are derived from the records available to Boring Riches. Published benchmarks should include their sample size, relevant period and material exclusions.
Signals are screening aids, not investment advice. Users should verify financial, legal, operational and commercial information before acting.
Search performance and pruning
Programmatic pages are launched in small cohorts and monitored by template. A page must contain facts specific to its business, source or market. We do not publish interchangeable sector and location combinations simply because a route can be generated.
After 90 days, a scaled page with no search impressions is reviewed for improvement, consolidation into a stronger parent or removal from the index. Historical business pages may remain public when they contain a useful outcome and the source permits retention.
